About Banding Choppers
The strapping is fed into the chopper which then automatically continues the feed. The strapping is cut into 80mm (3inch) lengths.
The underside exit of the chopper is baffled to prevent access to any moving parts whilst the machine is running. The inlet guarding allows the in-feed of the strapping only.
Banding choppers take waste strapping made of either metal or plastic. On average the strapping volume is reduced 20:1 when processed into a chopped, recyclable form. The increased chopper size and power allows for greater volume and higher density products to be processed.
Every Sweed Chopper sold within the UK and Ireland conforms to CE regulations and carries the CE marking.
