Mill Sized Vertical Balers

About Mill Balers

A mill baler gets its name from producing standardised industry sized bales that the processing mill accepts.

Using a hydraulic press plate, the recyclable material is compacted into a dense bale for reducing space used and making it easier to store and transport.

Mill Balers are commonly referred to as vertical balers due to the direction in which the hydraulic press compacts the waste product.

By producing bales which are already of the standardised size, the recycling facility has less work in collecting and processing with the waste. Resulting in them paying more for the bale.

The mill baler continuously compresses and stores the cardboard or plastic before the bale is ready to be ejected. This allows you to store more cardboard or plastic in a more efficient way in the workplace, making a cleaner and safer working environment whilst also saving space.

Cardboard & Plastic Balers

A mill sized, vertical baler can handle both plastic or cardboard allowing you flexibility with your waste recycling.

Cardboard Bale being ejected from the baler

Cardboard Mill Balers

A mill baler is a perfect fit for businesses producing and storing 40 wheelie bins of cardboard a month. This quantity of baled cardboard is better managed and stored with a baler.

A mill baler can hold a bale and an additional three bales can be stacked for collecting. This equates to four condensed cardboard bales (40 wheelie bins of un-compacted cardboard) takes up around two wheelie bins of space.

How much cardboard do I need to produce?

If you are producing two tonnes of cardboard per month then a baler can be more economical. This is the equivalent of six builders skips or 40 wheelie bins.

Plastic Mill Balers
